European Sales Director

Summary

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and results-driven European Sales Director to join our growing team and contribute to our company’s sales growth objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising, mentoring and motivating the sales team along with building key long-term customer relationships.

As the Sales Director, you will need to use your experience and thorough knowledge of best sales processes to provide strategic plans for business growth. This individual will report directly to the European Managing Director and the VP Global Sales.


Key Responsabilities :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for our commercial and consumer divisions.
  • Lead Europe nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with mid to large sized customers.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers in underperforming markets and verticals.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
  • Liaise with marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency, expansion and awareness.
  • Coordinate new product launches with sales team members.
  • Business reviews with strategic accounts.
  • Develop, maintain and grow key partners in territories with no Representation.
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly performance reviews with territory managers and independent agents.
  • In conjunction with the European Managing Director, hiring of all new sales individuals.
  • Identifying and hiring of strategic market independent agents.
  • Plan, prepare and assist with marketing for strategic Trade Shows.
  • Balance Travel & Entertainment budgets.
  • Optimize profits in line with European Managing Director and corporate objectives.

Qualification & Requirements :

  • 5 Years proven field experience as a National Sales Director
  • Experience managing a high-performance sales team
  • Packaging solutions provider with industry background.
  • CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent negotiation skills and relationship builder.
  • Multi-linguistic with strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Availability to travel frequently.
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant equivalent.
  • Comfortable in negotiating and completing sales & customer legal agreements
  • Experience working with large online resellers.
  • Expertise in developing and growing defined strategic sales channels.
